My band Piedmont has a new record out!

I played percussion in the pit of Broadway By the Bay’s production of The Sound of Music.

During Coronatimes, I’ve been working on a variety of drum/percussion and audio projects.

I play drums in the band Piedmont, based in San Jose, California. We are currently working on our debut album, due out fall 2020!

I played timpani for the University of Illinois Bands reunion to celebrate 150 years of bands at the University of Illinois.

I built a drum with tunable guitar strings and an electric guitar pickup under the head. It was weird.

I play drums in a rock band called Faster Forward, based in Champaign, IL. We are currently working on our debut album, due out in fall 2020!

Me, John Toenjes, and Brad Decker played an improvised piece as part of the inaugural Eastern Electronic Music Festival.

I am half of improvisation duo JT | JZ

I improvised the music and sound design for the University of Illinois’ 2-day challenge, where an evening of dances was choreographed, rehearsed, and performed in just 2 days.

I played percussion in the pit for Patriot Act UP choreographed by Sara Hook.

I performed in several memorable concerts as a member of the Truman State University Graduate Percussion Ensemble.

I built a set of unique woodblocks for Iannis Xenakis's Rebonds.
